Comprehensive Assessments & Reports
Solis Child & Adolescent Psychology provides comprehensive, evidence-based assessments (6+ years) to better understand strengths, challenges, and support needs. Assessments are tailored to the individual and may explore a range of presenting concerns (e.g., ADHD, ASD, intellectual giftedness). A key focus of the assessment process is careful differential diagnosis, that is, considering multiple possible explanations for a young person’s presentation rather than assessing for a single condition in isolation.
As part of the assessment process, significant time is allocated to clinical interviewing, behavioural observation, review of collateral information (e.g., school reports and questionnaires), psychometric interpretation, differential diagnosis, formulation, report writing, and feedback.
Assessment fees reflect the depth and individualised nature of this process. While some services offer more streamlined or narrowly focused assessments, our approach prioritises thoroughness, diagnostic clarity, and clinically meaningful recommendations tailored to the individual’s needs.
